It’s no coincidence that the 1st & 3rd warmest NZ summmers occurred in 2017 & 2018, respectively. As an island nation, as our surrounding ocean temperatures go, so do our air temperatures. Here's a mid-month update on rainfall️. Note the brown, or dryness, across much of Aotearoa. More specifically, so far this month compared to May normal: -Kaitaia 13% -Auckland 15% -Hamilton 12% -Wellington 28% -Christchurch 17% -Dunedin 32% https://t.co/Kq4meGkwLx
